Anzu comes from a Doman Father, taken far too early on the battlefield, even after escaping his homeland, and a Hingan Mother, who had been destined to work a shrine her entire life, until an unlikely meeting.Anzu was born in Gridania after her family escaped their homelands, in hopes of a better chance of survival. She was found to have a rather strong aetheric flow that kindled a fiery power within.(WOL)As her father falls at the hands of the Garlean Empire, Liwei screams out for the injustice, and Anzu's echo awoke. She witnessed her father's last moments and it almost broke her. When Kan-E-Senna returned without even her father's body for a proper burial, Anzu abandoned Gridania and headed to Limsa Lominsa to begin her adventures.(Non-WOL)Using that power, Anzu harnessed her magical prowess and began an apprenticeship with the Botanist Guild, under her brother Genjiro. She founded an apothecary that isn't exactly what it seems, in the heart of the Shroud; her dreaded 'hometown'.
